August 5, 2025All of us at Leahanne’s Heritage Breads would like to give a big shoutout to the Dandridge Farmer’s Market for being a major foundation for our business and giving us the platform for which we’ve been able to get our breads out to the public and meet so many wonderful visitors and Jefferson County locals!
The Dandridge Farmer’s Market is part of makes Dandridge special; it is our Saturday market and community engagement center that lets us support our local food vendors and creators, and lets us build connections and relationships with friends, associates, new neighbors, veterans and many others. Every town should have one and we are very proud of ours!
The Dandridge Farmers Market is every Saturday from mid-to-late Spring to late October or early November; basically whenever it’s warm enough to do business outside at 8:00AM until it’s too cold.
The Tennessee River Valley Geotourism site offers this description:
“The Dandridge Farmers Market has become the place to get all your fresh produce and homemade goods from local farms. For the past three years residents have shopped the Market every Saturday from June through November for the freshest vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, and much more. Many vendors offer organic selections.
True to the agricultural roots of JeffersonCounty, vendors are required to be farmers within the Jefferson and surrounding counties (no buy-sell is allowed)…and the market is part of the authenticity of a small town experience. The Farmers Market is host to many Demonstrations and activities by organizations of the Dandridge community. Past participants have been the Martha Dandridge Garden Club, Jefferson County 4-H Club, and local eateries and school clubs offering cooking demonstrations (with sampling) and pancake breakfasts.”
The Dandridge Farmer’s Market has a Facebook page that we feel is the best place for up-to-date information and announcements and we encourage you to visit it here: https://www.facebook.com/dandridgefarmersmarket/.
